My mom needs a nutritional supplement due to weight loss from depression.
She is oriental and can’t tolerate too much milk. Are there any soy based supplements?

I can think of several products that may be helpful for your mother. The first is considered the #1 nutritional supplement according to the Guide to Nutritional Supplements. Also, there is a product that is called Soymax. It is a nutritional meal replacement that is completely soy based. I think these might be very helpful. Here is a website where you can research and order the products.
Let me know if this helps you out.

There are quite a few. I have found one that is excellent, and is part of a family of health products that have made my life a joy instead of a burden. Email me if you want details.

try lowfat yoghurt instead..its anytime much more lower in lactose compared to milk and your mum will stil get her daily needs of calcium and iodine..make her eat lots of raw nuts and fish too..soy is estrogenic, avoid it…

protein supplements derived from eggs and soy are very popular and easily digestible.
