You should speak to your doctor, they will be able to tell you what is the best thing to do. All the supplement drinks are for different things.

Yes, as long as you drink it before the expiration date.

I just checked the ingredients at Abbott Labs ‘Ensure’ website. It is a great JUNK FOOD! After water, the THREE most common ingredients are SUGARS!
The vitamin and mineral content is very,very small and they do not tell you the chemical forms of these ingredients. This is a “RED FLAG” for vitamin/mineral supplements because it invariably means they are the cheapest, most poorly absorbed and often poorly utilized forms. In other words, a waste of money.
Additionally, the fiber content is extremely low (great for people with constipation! – I’m being sarcastic).
Best to think of this stuff as a “Liquid Candy bar”.
